Keeponjammin’s Bacon Vodka!

Ingredients for 1.5 liters of Bacon Vodka (fully scalable)

  • 0.75 liters of 90% strong neutral or vodka;
  • 75 grams of smoked bacon;
  • Mason jar;
  • 0.75 liters of water;
  • Pot;
  • Butter;
  • Kitchen paper;
  • Coffee filter;
  • Bottles;
  • Freezer.


  • Place the pot on the fire and – using some butter – bake the bacon well-done;
  • Now place the bacon on kitchen paper;
  • Fill the mason jar with the 90% neutral or vodka and add the bacon;
  • Close the mason jar, keep it at room temperature and shake it every day;
  • After a week, take out the bacon, and place the mason jar in the freezer;
  • After one day most of the fat will be frozen: filter through a white coffee filter to get rid of that fat (if need be: repeat procedure twice);
  • Dilute the 90% base drink to 45%, using 0.75 liters of water;
  • Give the drink up to 5 weeks of rest;
  • Bottle your now ready Bacon Vodka!


As a twist you can add some ahorn syrup and/or red colouring agent.
